Case Study: Earl Foust Construction

I was contacted by Earl Foust construction this year and they explained to me that they had a couple of trade shows coming up and they wanted new business cards and a display sign. Also, they wanted to replace their small project signs. I looked at what they were currently using in all types of their business literateure, ads, sign, etc. I noticed a lack of consistency in design and advised them that before spending money on anything new we should lock into a new logo and stick with it on all new printing, advertising, forms, etc. I modified one of my starter packages for them and we got the ball rolling on their new identity. Below is an "in-a-nutshell" outline of the process.

A. Their old logo, used sporadically.
B. Logo Development.
C. New project signs.

The above montage shows the beginnings of a uniform, consistant corporate identity system. From print ads, business forms and stationery, a new starter website, signage and banners. All aspects were done in "phases" when the customer felt it was feasable to move to the next project. As the company grows and expands, I am looking forward to intensifying their advertising, fleet graphics and other aspects of their marketing.

"Our company recently moved to a new location and as part of that move, we wanted to modernize our look. We heard about Mike through word-of-mouth from one of his existing clients. They were obviously very pleased with the quality of Mike’s work, so we decided to schedule an initial meeting to see what Mike had to offer. Mike presented his small business starter packages to us and then customized one of those packages to suit our specific needs. He suggested a budget friendly phased approach that began with a logo design and built upon that, eventually leading to web site design and ongoing website maintenance. Mike was easy to work with, offering his professional input but at the same time listening to our suggestions to create our ‘perfect’ logo. We could tell that Mike was genuinely concerned about growing our business. He went the ‘extra mile’ to be sure that our website looks great. Mike even gave us an extra page beyond what we agreed on just because he thought it needed to be included.  For a modest investment we are getting excellent exposure that is paying off in more and better business leads, thanks to Mike’s good work and personal interest in advancing our company."
